Marriage is, without a doubt, an institution that has historically provided stability and advancement to civilization. It has been the foundational factor in bringing up healthy, functional children and has long been integral to a civilized society.
However, when we objectively weigh the benefits of marriage today versus the known risks, we find that the decision to avoid marriage is sound, practical and apparent. The divorce rate, coupled with the corrupt, anti-male bias in family courts makes the decision simple, even if disappointing. Marriage is a bad deal for men, and ultimately for women and children. We don’t have to like this to know it’s true.
